KSW 56 is back with a stacked fight card this Saturday, billed as Poland vs Croatia. But before we look at the top of the card, let’s take a quick look at the rest of the event. There, we have a submission specialist in Robert Ruchata, competing against fellow Polish featherweight Michał Domin. Making his pro debut is Daniel Torres. The newcomer will mix it up with MMA Spirit’s Max Coga. Following that fight, an exciting lightweight bout between Filip Pejić and Sebastian Rajewski is on deck. Also on the docket, Francisco Barrio will look to snap Mateusz Legierski’s undefeated streak.
The event heats up with the final four bouts. In an important welterweight fight, Andrzej Grzebyk looks to notch his tenth win in a row against Marius Žaromskis. We have another competitive affair when the unbeaten Karolina Owczarz takes on Justyna Haba. Violence is wholesale with light heavyweight gold on the line in the co-main event. That features Ivan Erslan, who looks to remain undefeated against divisional king Tomasz Narkun. Finally, we arrive at the main event of KSW 56. Multi-time, and current KSW Welterweight Champion Roberto Soldic will look for a successful move up middleweight against former champion Michal Materla.
Andrzej Grzebyk vs. Marius Žaromskis
Fighting out of American Top Team, Žaromskis is looking to make a statement against Grzebyk. However, it’s important to note that Lithuanian Žaromskis has had frequent periods of inactivity. Additionally, Žaromskis has a tall task ahead. Poland’s Grzebyk is a dangerous finisher, and enters the bout riding a nine-fight win streak, with his last six bouts all ending via KO/TKO. Either way, this fight promises to bring some early action.
Karolina Owczarz vs. Justyna Haba
Unbeaten Polish prospect Karolina Owczarz looks to keep her record intact against Justyna Haba at KSW 56. While both competitors lack experience, they make up for it in finishing ability. Owczarz has racked up two impressive submissions. Conversely, Haba displayed excellent conditioning in her third round finish over Klaudia Owczarz, set up with knees. Ultimately the KSW women’s flyweight division will have a new contender emerge on November 14.
KSW 56 Co Main Event – Tomasz Narkun vs. Ivan Erslan
Since 2015, Tomasz Narkun has been the KSW Light Heavyweight champion. Now Narkun will look to remain the title-holder against the undefeated Erslan. Interestingly, the unbeaten Croatian Erlsen is a potent first-round finisher. Anytime a fighter is undefeated and vying for a title, a special feeling surrounds the fight. Overall both athletes present a unique challenge for each other, and KSW 56 will decide light heavyweight supremacy.
KSW 56 Main Event – Michał Materla vs. Roberto Soldić
The KSW 56 main event will conclude with former middleweight champ Michal Materla trying to stop the ascension of welterweight Roberto Soldic into the 185lb division. While Materla is getting a little older, his finishing abilities are diverse. In contrast, Soldic, KSW’s reigning welterweight champion, picks up most of his finishes via his striking.
Both athletes bring a show each time they walk into the cage. Fans can expect a historic event, with a title on the line in one fight, and perhaps the double-champ dreams of Roberto Soldic hanging in the balance in the other.
KSW 56 takes place Saturday, November 14th, 2PM ET on KSWTV.
