The first of back-to-back Bellator MMA shows this weekend is official. But it wasn’t easy. No fewer than three fighters missed weight for Bellator 245 at Thursday morning’s weigh-in. Including one half of the co-main event.

That would be Gabrielle (Gabby) Holloway, who came in heavy for her featherweight fight with the debuting Cat Zingano. She tipped the scales a whopping 4.7lbs over the non-title featherweight limit. Also heavy were preliminary card fighters Amanda Bell, who missed the featherweight limit by three pounds, and Vinicius Zani, who came in heavy for a 140lb catchweight fight.

All three fights are expected to move forward at catchweights, with fighters fined a percentage of the purse.

The main event pairing, however, had no issues weighing in. Both Phil Davis and Lyoto Machida came in under the light heavyweight (non-title) limit, making that fight official. Perhaps the most curious discrepancy in weight was between Raymond Daniels and Peter Stanonik, as the latter came in several pounds under the welterweight limit.
