Prediction
This is a great fight between a veteran prospect in Flick going against a top young undefeated prospect in Smith. Smith is a Greco-Roman wrestler and I’m sure he will land takedowns on Flick. The question is, can Smith handle the onslaught submission attack from Flick?
Although I said Flick has a grappling advantage I think it’s super close because Smith is very sound as well. In his last fight, Smith was put in some bad positions and although he defended perfectly he may not have if it was Flick on top or Flick on his back. On the feet, it’s a bit of a toss-up as Flick doesn’t really have much to offer and Smith has hardly shown anything. I have no doubt this fight is hitting the mat though. I’m siding with the wrestling of Smith. I expect Smith to take Flick down at will and his grappling to be enough to avoid those submissions. Outside of a submission, I like Smith everywhere.
