Former UFC fighter/current COVID-19 denier wants to fight local politician

It’s a tough time for a lot of people right now. The global pandemic brought on by the spread of COVID-19 has upended the lives of many and threatened the livelihoods of millions. Meanwhile, former UFC fighter and coronavirus denier Vik Grujic wants to fight the Australian Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews. Huh?

People are reacting to and dealing with the massive lifestyle changes around the world in different ways. For some, embracing conspiracy theories is the coping mechanism of choice.

Grujic has spent the past few months claiming that the coronavirus is a “hoax” and that “communism reigns supreme” in Melbourne, Australia. He ranted about the restrictive measures in place following a surge in cases, adding that his city is “under siege” by a “dictator.” He later added that he was “down” to fight Andrews if given the opportunity. – via Bloody Elbow

While idiots like Grujic spend their time harassing politicians on social media and spreading misinformation, people are getting sick and dying, nurses and doctors are working as hard as ever while putting their lives and families at risk, and the rest of us are doing what we can to get through this as quickly and safely as possible. Don’t be like Grujic.
