Prediction
This is one of my favorite fights (announced so far) on the Contender Series this year. Both fighters are very high-level and both I think will no doubt make it to the UFC eventually. It’s hard to pick a winner because they match up so well. Both are very technical on the feet. The movement of Romero could give Breeden fits but the pressure of Breeden can fold Romero. Romero I’d imagine would want to take this fight down but the takedown defense of Breeden so far has been perfect. It comes down to the fact that Breeden hasn’t fought a wrestler like Romero and Romero hasn’t fought a striker like Breeden. If I’m going to lean either way I’ll lean towards Breeden. The reason being, I believe Breeden can put Romero on his backfoot and touch him up.
