Dwight Grant has somewhat of an awkward style: often crouched down, chin tucked, little movement – ready to spring. But it suits him and that low center of gravity probably has a lot to do with his absurd KO power. Grant is a pretty well-rounded fighter but his overhand right stands above all his other tools. It is an equalizer, a fighter ender, and look no further than Grant’s second to last fight against Carlo Pedersoli to see just how quick he can finish a fight.
And who could forget his exceptional KO, with his overhand right, on the Contender Series to in order to get into the UFC, in the first place? Dwight is as exciting a fighter as they come and this Saturday at UFC Las Vegas 7 he will welcome Calen Born to the UFC.
