Bantamweights Sarah Alpar and Duda Santana are the first fight revealed for May’s UFC Oklahoma City.
The recently announced UFC Oklahoma City card now has a fight attached to it. Women’s bantamweights Sarah Alpar and Duda Santana are set to throw down at the event. MMA journalist Mike Heck Jr. was first to report the news, which was subsequently confirmed by Alpar on her official Instagram.
Alpar (9-4) will be making her octagon debut at the show, and fighting for the first time since her Contender Series win over Shanna Young last August. Rather Ironically, Young will beat Alpar to the punch, as she debuts this weekend at UFC Rio Rancho. In any case, Alpar at least gets a full camp when she faces off with Brazil’s Duda Santana.
Santana (3-1) made her promotional debut last summer against TUF 28 standout Bea Malecki. That resulted in the first loss of the Brazilian’s career. It also represented her first fight since 2017. She’ll look to turn things around in Oklahoma City.
UFC Oklahoma City takes place May 2, 2020 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. No main event has been announced for the card as of yet.
