ONE Championship returned to the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines on Friday, with Fire & Fury, their first show of 2020 in the nation. Featuring the Philippines own Joshua Pacio in the main event, the card had plenty of local talent, with no fewer than six fighters competing at home.
Pacio, however, has his strawweight title on the line, with a credible challenger in Alex Silva. Silva had a tremendous start to his career, going 6-1 and capturing the strawweight belt in the process. However, he lost it back to Yoshitaka Naito immediately then dropped a pair of fights, including a rubber match with the Japanese champ.
Friday, however, he headed into Fire & Fury on a two-fight win streak. Pacio, meanwhile, looked to dazzle fans at home.
