The weigh-ins are official, the face-offs are complete, and it’s on to UFC Raleigh come Saturday night!
Raleigh, NC — With the UFC Raleigh official weigh-in complete (all fighters made weight, more on that here), all that remained was the final face-off.
The card is topped by a main event showdown between Curtis ‘Razor’ Blaydes and former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos. Both men have title shots in mind, though whether or not they’re likely to receive one with a victory in Raleigh is another matter entirely.
The co-main event sees a pair of lightweights turned welterweights throw down. In that, former 155lb champ Rafael dos Anjos, a mainstay at 170lbs in the last few years, takes on Michael Chiesa. Chiesa will be entering his third fight in the weight class having won his first two.
Also on the card, former women’s bantamweight title challenger Sara McMann. The Olympian is set to take on the always tough Lina Lansberg. Another standout names include Arnold Allen, who takes on Nik Lentz after both fighter’s original opponents dropped off the card.
Preliminary action at the PNC Arena kicks off at 5PM ET, with the main card getting underway at 8PM.
