Combate Americas has announced the finalized card for the December 7 pay-per-view event featuring Tito Ortiz taking on Alberto “El Patron.”

Combate Americas has announced the finalized fight card for their event on December 7 from McAllen, Texas.  The card is headlined by former UFC light heavyweight champion and  Hall-of-Famer Tito Ortiz making his promotional debut against former WWE champion Alberto “El Patron” del Rio (a.k.a. Alberto Del Rio).

Previously announced was the co-main event for the inaugural women’s strawweight championship that will feature Melissa “Super Melly” Martinez taking on Desiree “Dirty Dez” Yanez.  Martinez is 6-0 and has been one of the rising stars of the promotion since making her debut in 2017.  Yanez is on a four fight win-streak and made her promotional debut earlier this year where she defeated Paulina Vargas.

Also announced for the main card is a bout between newcomers Daniel Barez and Joby Sanchez.  Barez is on a four-fight win streak and has previously competed for BAMMA in his career.  Sanchez has previously fought in the UFC after making his way in through Dana White’s Contender Series, and made his Combate Americas debut in October where he defeated former champion José Alday by decision.

Made official today is a re-scheduled featherweight bout between Levy Marroquin and Enrique Gonzalez.  The two were previously set to fight in October before the fight fell through close to the event.  Marroquin is best known for winning the inaugural Copa Combate one night tournament on 24 hours notice as an alternate in 2017 and is coming off a loss to top contender Alejandro Flores back in April.  Gonzalez is on a two fight win-streak and made his promotional debut in June with a victory by split-decision.

The pay-per-view broadcast will also feature the return of Gaston “Tonga” Reyno against Angel “Tito” Cruz.  Reyno joined the promotion to much fan-fare early last year after a stint in Bellator and had an exciting debut against Carlos Ochoa last October.  Cruz has previously fought in LFA and is making a quick turn-around after winning his last fight earlier this month by first round key-lock.  The fight is scheduled to take place at a catchweight of 150 pounds.

Rounding out the main card will be pro-wrestler Dulce Garcia, better known as “Sexy Star”, in her second MMA fight against Marisol Ruelas.  Garcia started the trend of female wrestlers being signed to the promotion as the company also saw the debut of “Thunder Rosa” Melissa Cervantes earlier this month.  Garcia won her debut in April by unanimous decision while Ruelas is 1-2 who last fought in September.

On the preliminary card, a lightweight bout between Jose “Luke” Flores and Ismael “Marreta” Bonfim has been announced as well as the return of Ricky “El Gallero” against Jose “The Ghost” Ceja” at featherweight.
