Bellator MMA brought the second event of a back-to-back weekend to Los Angeles on Saturday, with Bellator 228 featuring the second half of the featherweight grand prix opening round.
Weigh-ins for Bellator 228 went down Friday, with the entire 145lb field under the microscope. Missing weight in the tournament could very well be catastrophic. Lyoto Machida, meanwhile, was once again fighting at middleweight, despite admitting that the cut to 185lbs was tricky for the 41-year old former light heavyweight champion.
