With Roberta Samad coming in heavy, Sarah Kaufman advances to the PFL playoffs this season. The PFL week 4 card now moves forward with eight fights.

Something just had to happen at the weigh-ins for this year’s PFL 4 show (PFL 2019 Week 4, as last year had its own PFL 4 show). And it did. Top-seed Sarah Kaufman saw her opponent, Roberta Samad, miss weight for the women’s lightweight bout. As a result, Kaufman gets the walk-over win and three points, and will head into the PFL 2019 post-season without competing for her second fight. She has 9 points in the tournament.

Zane Kamaka also missed weight for his fight with Andre Fialho. It was Kamaka’s second miss this year, and he’s out of the league as a result. Fialho meanwhile moves into the post-season.

The PFL 2019 Week 4 card will now proceed with eight fights, including Kaufman’s toughest competition in the lightweight division, Kayla Harrison. Harrison, who fought outside the tournament format last season with the Professional Fighters League, will take on Morgan Frier at the show at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, NJ. That fight serves as the co-main event, while top billing goes to welterweight champ Magomed Magomedkerimov, who will be taking on Chris Curtis.
