As it continues to expand its international footprint, the UFC has announced dates in Busan, South Korea and Kallang, Singapore later this year.

The UFC is looking to continue its expansion in Asia. Facing increased competition in the region with the likes of ONE Championship and RIZIN Fighting Federation, the world’s largest mixed martial arts promotion has announced two Asian dates for later this year. Those include a Singapore date in October, and a return to South Korea in December.

That’s in addition to the Shenzhen, China card next month.

The South Korea show, on December 21, will take place in Busan, the first time the UFC has visited the city. While no fights were announced for the card, expect The Korean Zombie, Chan Sung Jung, to be in the mix, likely in the main event. Zombie has been talking about a return to South Korea by his employer since last year. Other fighters from the nation, including Doo-Ho Choi (The Korean Superboy), could feature as well.

Singapore, meanwhile, will be getting its fourth visit from Dana White and co. on October 26, as the promotion heads to Kallang’s Singapore Indoor Stadium. It will be the third show at that venue for the UFC, and for those keeping score, that’s right in ONE Championship’s own back yard. Not surprising, after ONE beat the competition into China, and has become a bigger playing in Japan of late.

As with the South Korea date, the Singapore card has yet to have any fights announced. UFC Singapore should work out to UFC Fight Night 162, while the Busan show will clock in at UFC Fight Night 165.

Expect more fights for both of these upcoming cards to be announced over the next several weeks.
