Poland’s Damian Grabowski will challenge English heavyweight champ Phil De Fries at KSW 50 in London, England this September.
Phil De Fries has his opponent for KSW’s monumental 50th show. The Polish promotion announced on social media that De Fries, a former UFC talent, will face a fellow ex-UFC fighter in Damian Grabowski at KSW 50 this September. The show takes place in London, England, putting it right in De Fries’ back yard.

KSW previously announced De Fries’ participation in the card, but did not have an opponent available at the time.
A native of Sunderland, England, De Fries (17-6) has found new life recently, embarking on a 5-0 run that includes three wins under the KSW banner. After defeating James Thompson in Bellator, the 33-year old won the KSW heavyweight title in his promotional debut, and has defended it twice — most recently against light heavyweight champ Tomasz Narkun.
Damian Grabowski (22–5), a former UFC and Bellator fighter, snapped a three fight losing skid when he was released by the UFC in 2017. He won his KSW debut with a TKO of former champ Karol Bedorf at KSW 49 in May.
That win set up the title shot against De Fries, but it will be a tough task, heading into enemy territory with the champ on a roll.
KSW 50 takes place at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London, England on September 14.
