The Russia native has a background in Sambo as he is the former World Universal Combat Champion, the winner of the Russian Combat-Sambo Cup, and a European Combat-Sambo Champion. Ibragimov is the current M-1 Global champion with one title defense. He is still very green, but at his age, I really like where he is and I think he has a bright future. In the clinch, Ibragimov utilizes trips and has excellent judo throws he likes to use.
