The popular Paige VanZant has her next opponent set, as she’ll face Poliana Botelho at UFC 236, according to reports.

Paige VanZant, who was just celebrating husband Austin Vanderford’s promotional debut win at Bellator 216 over the weekend, has her next bout set. According to Combate, who were first to report the news, VanZant will face Brazil’s Poliana Botelho at UFC 236 later this year. It will be VanZant’s second fight of 2019, after fighting only once in the previous two years, in part due to breaking her arm against Jessica-Rose Clark.

’12 Gauge’ got back in the win column at UFC Brooklyn last month. VanZant (8-4) defeated Rachael Ostovich at that event, which was the UFC’s debut on streaming service ESPN+. That snapped a two fight losing streak against Clark and ‘The Karate Hottie’ Michelle Waterson. Overall, Paige is 5-3 in the UFC, and 1-1 in the flyweight division after moving up from strawweight.

Poliana Botelho (7–2) will enter UFC 236 off a loss against Cynthia Calvillo at UFC Argentina in November. The Brazilian is 2-1 in the UFC, and had been on a five fight win streak prior to the loss.

UFC 236 takes place April 13, 2019 — but does not yet have a location or venue announced. Israel Adesanya vs. Kelvin Gastelum for the interim middleweight title is rumored to top the card.
