UFC Prague continues to grow as it adds an exciting fight at flyweight which will feature Gillian Robertson taking on Venezuela’s Veronica Macedo.
An action-packed UFC on ESPN+ 3 card goes down live from Prague, Czech Republic on February 23. And today it got presumably its last fight added.
Following a report from FloCombat, an alum of The Ultimate Fighter season 26, Gillian Robertson (5-3) announced that her fight with Veronica Macedo (5-2-1) was official.
“The Savage” Robertson is one who is always looking to fight as often as possible.
With her last fight resulting in her first UFC loss, Robertson was that much hungrier to get back in there and try to rebound as soon as possible.
As for Macedo, she has yet to find her first UFC win since joining the promotion in 2016. Following her losses to Ashlee-Evans Smith at bantamweight then Andrea Lee in her flyweight debut, Macedo was scheduled to face Maryna Moroz at UFC Argentina in November 2018 but was forced to pull out with an injury.
Perhaps this will be where Macedo can find that ever so elusive first UFC victory.
As for the rest of the card in Prague, it looks to be a fun one as it’s topped by quite a violent and critical matchup at light heavyweight.
