RIZIN’s Heisei’s Last Yarennnoka is in the books, but you can catch a glimpse of the action below, featuring all fights from the first of two back-to-back RIZIN cards on New Year’s Eve.
Kicking off the first of two back-to-back shows, Heisei’s Last Yarennnoka (or any number of dubious spellings that have been floating around, but RIZIN went with the triple N) served as something of a preliminary card ahead of RIZIN 14. It was, however, marketed as an event unto itself, airing separately. In the west, of course, that meant watching a replay via FITE.tv tomorrow, but Japanese viewers could watch the action unfold on Yahoo’s GYAO! service.
Topping the card was former UFC featherweight Tatsuya Kawajiri. Returning to action for the first time since October of 2017, Kawajiri was desperately in need of a win, having gone 1-4 in his past five bouts, including losses to Kron Gracie and Cub Swanson. New Year’s Eve was not his night, however, as he instead lost a split decision against Satoru Kitaoka.
