Bellator MMA was back in action Friday night, with Bellator 205 going down in Boise, Idaho. The promotion’s visit to the spud state saw undefeated rising star A.J. McKee put his eleven-fight unbeaten streak on the line against John Teixeira, filling in for Pat Curran, who was forced off the card due to injury. In the co-main event, meanwhile, another injury to Goiti Yamauchi saw Roger Huerta step up to face Patricky Pitbull in lightweight action.
Before either of those two promising bouts could get underway, however, there was the Bellator 205 preliminary card, streaming live online (right here at Cageside Press, among other outlets)! Among the standouts on the card, undefeated prospect and three-time NCAA All-American wrestler Jarod Trice, and Hungarian featherweight Adam Borics. Not to mention Johnny Nunez, who had a baby girl with former UFC women’s bantamweight champ Miesha Tate earlier this Summer, and who has appeared on two seasons of The Ultimate Fighter.
