UFC 231 will see light heavyweight action as Devin Clark has been paired up with Aleksander Rakic at the event this December in Toronto.

The UFC’s return to Toronto has seen a light heavyweight scrap officially announced for the card. The UFC unveiled via social media that Devin Clark (9-2) and Aleksander Rakic (10-1) havve been booked for the event, which takes place in the Canadian city this December. The show is expected to be topped by a featherweight title fight between champ Max Holloway and top contender Brian Ortega.

A native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Clark is 3-2 in his UFC tenure to date. At UFC 223, he earned a unanimous decision win over Mike Rodriguez, which got Clark back on the right track after a previous loss to Jan Blachowicz. Clark, who debuted in the UFC at middleweight, is 3-1 at 205lbs.

Aleksander Rakic, meanwhile, has not lost since his professional debut in 2011. The Austrian fighter has won ten straight since then, including his first two UFC bouts. Eight of his ten victories have been stoppages, although he is still looking for his first finish in the UFC.

UFC 231 takes place December 8 at the Scotiabank Arena (formerly the Air Canada Centre) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
