UFC Singapore brings fans a card full of well-known names looking to get back in the win column and Cageside Press has their picks ready.
Last time out, UFC Auckland was a rough night for several of us, so the fighters aren’t the only ones trying to get back in the win column this weekend. The fights being picked for UFC Singapore are:
- Tarec Saffiedine vs. Rafael dos Anjos
- Dong Hyun Kim vs. Colby Covington
- Andrei Arlovski vs. Marcin Tybura
- Holly Holm vs. Bethe Correia
Check out our staff picks below!
|Staff Writers||Saffiedine vs. dos Anjos||Kim vs. Covington||Arlovski vs. Tybura||Holm vs. Correia|
Heath Harshman (14-8)
Harry Davies (13-17)
Jay Anderson (15-7)
Mike McClory (9-7)
Dan Doherty (9-7)
Eddie Law (12-10)
Paarth Pande (10-6)
Jason Payne (8-2)
Interestingly, just one of the four fights on the UFC Fight Night 111 card in Singapore wound up with one fighter getting a clean sweep from our staff members. All of our writers chose Rafael dos Anjos over former Strikeforce champ Tarec Saffiedine, despite RDA moving up to welterweight for the bout.
In the main event, almost no one was siding with Team Correia, either. Just one fighter chose the Brazilian to win. In the heavyweight co-main event between former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski and Marcin Tybura, only two writers picked “The Pitbull” to return to form.
Kim vs. Covington was similar, with all but two fighters choosing Dong Hyun Kim to pick up the victory.
Our writers see UFC Singapore as a one-sided card — lets see how it plays out!
