Paul Daley didn’t get the job done at Bellator 179 in London, England Friday. That didn’t seem to dampen his spirits any, and he immediately went about lining up his next fight. That would (presumably) be against flashy striker Michael “Venom” Page, who was pulled from the Bellator 179 card due to injury.

Daley, never one to hold back, had some choice words for “MVP” following his second round submission loss to Rory MacDonald at the event. Daley told Jimmy Smith in the cage that “All I know is Michael Page is a p***y. I’ve got some s*** on him, but I ain’t about to put that out in public.” Daley, however, questioned the number of times Page has been pulled from fights as a result of injury, saying “little p***y keeps getting injured like this.”

Were that the end of it, Daley would likely have himself his next fight. However, on the walk back to the locker room, Daley actually rushed at Page, who was in attendance. That resulted in a number of people getting between the two to prevent any unnecessary violence.

Paul Daley has obviously been associated with antics outside the cage before, so it will be interesting to see how Bellator MMA reacts. That having been said, it doesn’t look like there was much in the way of an actual confrontation.
