The cross-promotional showdown between Bellator MMA and RIZIN Fighting Federation this New Year’s Eve has added another fight to its line-up.

In a press release on Friday, Bellator officials announced that Gadzhi Rabadanov, representing the American fight promotion, would take on Japan’s Koji Takeda at the event. Takeda, of course, will be representing RIZIN in the match-up.

Rabadanov (18-4-2), 29, is a former Eagle FC lightweight champion who signed on with Bellator last year. He’s won his first three fights with the promotion, most recently capturing a unanimous decision win over Bobby King.

The Russian lightweight has won four straight overall, and has just one loss since 2016.

Takeda (15-3) is a former DEEP lightweight champ who turned pro in 2017. He’s won two straight against American’s Johnny Case and Zach Zane. Takeda has also shared the cage/ring with the likes of Spike Carlyle, Yusuke Yachi, and Damien Brown.

The Bellator MMA vs. RIZIN card takes place on December 31, 2022 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, located just outside Tokyo. The following match-ups have been announced for the event thus far:

A.J. McKee vs. Roberto de Souza

Patricio Pitbull vs. Kleber Koike

Juan Archuleta vs. Soo Chul Kim

Kyoji Horiguchi vs. Hiromasa Ougikubo

Gadzhi Rabadanov vs. Koji Takeda

A handful of events have some bright MMA prospects this week; CFFC is already in the books, but Bellator, Titan FC, and RIZIN are yet to come. Here’s the latest Weekly MMA Prospect Report.

CFFC 100 | US | Thursday

Lightweight, Zulkarnaiyn Kamchybekov (5-1)

Originally from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan Kamchybekov has been living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His only loss is to current UFC fighter Matt Semelsberger; that went to a split decision. Kamchybekov is well-rounded and has the ability to be fighting for a big promotion at this time. On the feet, he fights very patiently picking his shots. He throws a lot of kicks from the outside and isn’t stingy as he goes to the legs, body, and head. Kamchybekov throws some nice straight punches and his immense power in his hands. Kamchybekov does a solid job punching his way into takedowns. He’s a capable grappler despite having the knockout finishes. It looks like he has a lot to use so watch out for this guy. Kamchybekov defends his CFFC title against Blake Smith (5-2).

Check out the CFFC 100 results here.

Bellator 266 | US | Saturday

Light heavyweight, Christian Edwards (5-0)

Edwards is one of the hottest prospects today coming out of Jackson-Wink MMA and is a sparring partner of former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. A young kid but he has the attributes to go really far in this sport. Edwards has some sick thai clinch work with nice knees and elbows. He lands often stepping in with strikes and finishes in the clinch with excellent work. Also mixing in a few takedowns while showing solid cardio. He’s also already gone three rounds twice and looked really good. He fights Ben Parrish (4-1).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bps5DI6pQiM&t=4s

Light heavyweight, Grant Neal (6-0)

After going 6-0 as an amateur Neal is currently 6-0 as a pro. Neal is a wrestler first. If he doesn’t finish the fight early he can dominate the fight with relentless takedowns. Once he gets his hands clasped he will dump you on your back in a big way. Neal stays busy with ground and pound and can throw at the same pace and pick it up later in the later rounds even. He fights Alex Polizzi (8-1).

Light heavyweight, Alex Polizzi (8-1)

Polizzi has the recipe to be a big prospect in the 205lb weight class. His only loss is to the surging Julius Anglickas. Polizzi was a D1 wrestler at Northwestern University from 2010-2015 and was a state champion. Polizzi needs work on his stand-up but his wrestling and athleticism will take him far. His ground and pound have been his best weapon to date. He fights Grant Neal (6-0).

Titan FC 72 | US | Friday

Bantamweight, Ryan Kuse (4-0)

Kuse is a young fighter with a lot of promise. On the feet, Kuse fights at distance with kicks and long punches. He’s just as good as a wrestler as he is a striker. Kuse has been dominant on top position and is smooth in transitions. His ground and pound is arguably his best weapon. He’s well-rounded but needs a step up in competition. Kuse fights Rob Fuller (1-12).

Rizin 30 | Japan | Sunday

Lightweight, Koji Takeda (12-1)

Takeda has one sole loss to former UFC fighter Damien Brown. Since then he’s got back on the board with four wins. Takeda is the former DEEP Impact lightweight champion with two title defenses. He’s well-rounded with submission wins and TKO wins, although he has gone the distance six times. On the feet, Takeda has an excellent jab and fights behind it very well. He doesn’t have the power, but it’s the accumulation of strikes he lands that is fantastic. He’s just so technical on the feet and is also a good wrestler/grappler and can do it the whole distance of the fight. He fights Yusuke Yachi (22-11).

Aside from the UFC, MMA action has come in fits and starts throughout 2021 thus far. But this week, there’s action all over the globe, from Canada to the U.K., Japan to Australia, Bahrain to Russia and more. With things ramping back up, let’s get to the prospects. This week, there’s a lot of them in action!

BRAVE CF 48 | Bahrain | Thursday

Middleweight, Nemanja Kovač (13-3)

Fighting out of Novi Sad, Serbia Kovac is someone that always brings it. After losing three consecutive fights in 2018 he’s now on a six-fight win streak. Kovac will constantly come forward landing some powerful hooks. He has heavy leg kicks that he uses to target the legs, body, and head. Kocac does a solid job attacking the body and just breaking guys down. Not sure if he’s high-level yet but is fun to watch. He fights Ahmad Labban (9-4).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXvJgTfQ6L8

Light heavyweight, Murtaza Talha Ali (2-0)

Only 2-0 as a pro, Ali is one of the highest level light heavyweight amateurs in a long time. Ali is a two-time IMMAF world champion which is the biggest accomplishment out there as an amateur. Ali is a good striker and is an excellent wrestler. He’s had no issue closing the distance and powering guys to the mat. Ali has solid ground and pound and can grab the neck at any time. Ali has the blueprint to be the next big thing at light-heavyweight and I think he will. He fights Cameron Meintjies (6-1).

Cage Warriors 120 | UK | Friday

Featherweight, James Hendin (5-0)

Hendin is a super impressive young man out of England. Hendin is a wrestler who will grind out hard-fought decision wins. He’s always in your face throwing low calf kicks, short powerful punches, and pressing opponents against the cage. Hendin has good wrestling especially with a beautiful hip-toss he’s hit many times in his career. Hendin doesn’t have any submissions but has smothering active ground and pound. Hendin has pressure, technique, and a deep gas tank. He fights Paul Hughes (6-1) which is an awesome fight.

Middleweight, Will Currie (5-0)

Currie is a primary grappler with a submission base. As a pro, he’s finished with a RNC, armbar, americana, keylock, and an arm-triangle. Wrestling wise he has good timing on his entries and has a strong body lock. Currie has been very impressive on the mat with that submission base, aggression, and smooth transitions. Only being 22, Currie has a bright future. He fights Christian Leroy Duncan (2-0).

Lightweight, Mike Figlak (4-0)

Poland’s Figlak made his name known when he beat top prospect Oban Elliott five months ago. Figlak is well-rounded and is everything you look for in a young fighter. On the feet, Figlak gets right at it throwing combinations, never throwing single strikes. He’s very accurate with everything thrown and his right hand over the shoulder is his best weapon. If Figlak isn’t impressive enough with his striking his wrestling is just as good if not better. I like Figlak so much I think he’s a future Cage Warriors champion. He fights Steven Hooper (5-3).

Featherweight, Ben Ellis (3-0)

Ellis is only 3-0 and I usually don’t mention uber young (career-wise) fighters in this feature but he’s impressed me a lot. It’s not like he only has three fights, as he had eight amateur fights going undefeated. As an amateur Ellis won the Budo Fighting and Cage Warriors lightweight title. Ellis is an excellent wrestler with solid positional grappler and has damaging ground and pound. He fights Manny Akpan (2-0).

EFC 34 | Russia | Friday

Bantamweight, Sharapudin Magomedov (4-0)

Russian Sharapudin Magomedov is only 4-0 as a pro but has some good experience as he had a 15-1 amateur record. Magomedov has been very dominant thus far in his pro career especially with his ground game. He does have some heavy hands but is a much more dangerous wrestler/grappler. Magomedov is dominant once on top with excellent ground and pound and heavy position control. He fights Renat Khavalov (3-0).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UjEtsk6Wog&t=4s

Featherweight, Busurmankul Abdibait Uulu (12-3-1)

The former M-1 veteran Busurmankul Abdibait Uulu makes his return to the cage after a year and a half layoff. Uulu’s last three fights went to a decision but on the other side has nine stoppages in the first round. He can stand and trade in a brawl, wrestle, and grapple all very well. Uulu has a bombshell of a right hand, heavy kicks, strong wresting, and solid ground and pound. Arguably the best prospect out of Kyrgyzstan. He fights Vladislav Korolevskiy (8-4).

Middleweight, Imam-Shapi Mukhtarov (8-0)

Mukhtarov is an exciting prospect out of Russia with an undefeated record. He’s got a diverse kickboxing style throwing a lot of spinning attacks. He’s always throwing something different and looks very tricky. Mukhtarov has good judo as well and is just as good on the mat with his jiu-jitsu. He fights Magomed Nurov (6-2).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92NWS4UQ6WU&t=165s

Welterweight, Samandar Murodov (5-0)

Muradov the 21-year-old Russian is a top-notch grappler. His wrestling looks good as well. But once on the mat, he’s in full control. Muradov uses his length on the mat controlling the position, winning the scrambles, and his defensive grappling is solid. His jiu-jitsu is very glue-like as he as a strong body-lock and a tight mount. Just a grappler but a dangerous one. He fights Abdurakhman Alimagomedov (10-0).

Cage Warriors 121 | UK | Friday

Lightweight, Agy Sardari (13-2)

Being a Dutch fighter, of course Sardari has good kickboxing. He actually comes from a karate background and is an instructor. Sardari does have solid kicks, a good one-two, and nicely done footwork, moving in with two to three shots and back out. Sardari is well rounded and to me his wrestling and grappling is where he’s best. Sardari has strong wrestling and when he gets it to the mat he moves well on top. Off his back he’s super busy. As the fight goes on he gets better. He’s going to be a tough guy to beat. He fights Donovan Desmae (14-5).

Bantamweight, Jack Cartwright (9-0)

Cartwright has been wrestling since the age of five and has a background as a former ABA boxer. Cartwright just recently began showing his striking; with his power and timing he’s just as good as he is as a grappler. The Brit is a good wrestler and more of an exceptional grappler. He’s got a very dangerous guillotine and d’arce he’s finished with a few times. Cartwright is the real deal and one of my favorite prospects out of the UK. He fights Sylwester Miller (9-3).

Welterweight, Ian Garry (5-0)

Among all the top prospects from the UK/Ireland, Garry stands out as the future. In his young career, Garry has already proven to be extremely well rounded, fought through adversity, and has already improved greatly. Garry is a dangerous fighter on the feet with a long jab and a flashy kicking arsenal. He likes to stay standing but does have an underrated ground game as well. He fights former UFC fighter Rostem Akman (6-2).

The United Kingdom’s Cage Warriors, plus Bellator’s European Series, factors big in why so many MMA prospects from Europe are in action this week. So with no further ado, let’s take a look at the wealth of prospects in action this week.

Cage Warriors 114 | Thursday | UK

Flyweight, Luke Shanks (6-1)

Shanks is an aggressive fighter who is a wrestler first. On the feet, Shanks hits hard but everything he does is to close the distance. With strong wrestling, he has a strong top position. He has solid ground and pound and early in his pro career, he started 3-0 with three submission wins. Shanks has a deep gas tank and that is where his pressure has just broken opponents so far. He fights the champ, Samir Faiddine (11-6).

Flyweight, Jake Hadley (5-0)

Hadley is only 5-0 as a pro but in his amateur career, he was successful and was a 4x amateur British flyweight champion. When Hadley was only 3-0 as a pro he fought a top prospect in Nkazimulo Zulu. Hadley beat him for the EFC Worldwide Flyweight Championship. Hadley hasn’t really had much time on the feet, but it seems he knows what to do if he can’t get the fight to the mat. Hadley is a good wrestler but it’s his jiu-jitsu that is his best aspect. His transitions are smooth and his ability to take the back is superb. He’s a big submission threat with nine career submissions. He fights Shajidul Haque (10-4) who is a good test.

Lightweight, Oban Elliott (3-0)

Elliott is 3-0 as a pro, and he went 7-0 as an amateur as well. The story of Elliott for the main part has been him closing the distance, getting the fight down, and finishing the fight. On the feet, Elliott is a bit raw but does have solid wretling getting it down from upper bodylocks mainly, showing his physical strength. He has some excellent jiu-jitsu gliding on top and is continuesly looking for the finish. Some big ground and pound is also in his arsenal and that helps soften up the opponent to get the sub. A bright young prospect to watch for. He fights Michal Figlak (2-0).

Brave CF 42 | Thursday | Bahrain

Flyweight, Abdul Hussein (7-1)

Hussein won the 2016 IMMAF world championship gold medal in the bantamweight division. He is well rounded being dangerous both on the feet and on the mat. On the feet, he will need to tuck his chin better and keep his hands up higher, mind you. He really picks his shots on the feet being very conservative with his energy but has good accuracy with everything he throws, mixing it up well. Hussein is a decent wrestler but his work on the mat is better as he has good jiu-jitsu and some brutal elbows in his ground and pound. He fights former UFC/Bellator veteran Zach Makovsky (21-9).

UAE Warriors 13 | Abu Dhabi | Friday

Heavyweight, Chi Lewis-Parry (8-0-2)

Chi Lewis-Parry may be 37-years-old but at heavyweight, you can get away with being a bit older. Outside of MMA, Lewis-Parry has competed in kickboxing, most notably in Glory beating current UFC fighter Maurice Greene. He has a few ground and pound stoppages but obviously is more comfortable on the feet. Lewis-Parry is towering at 6’9″ which makes him a tough target to hit. He has a laser counter right hand which is his best weapon. He has a lot of holes like his takedown defense and cardio but has still yet to face defeat. Despite all the faults Chi has he’s still a dangerous guy. He fights Fábio Maldonado (26-14) who is past his prime but remains the toughest test for Parry to date.

Lightweight, Kyung Pyo Kim (9-2)

In the last four years, Kyung Pyo Kim has only lost one fight. That loss was to now current UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan. Now Kim is on a three-fight win streak, winning the Heat lightweight title is his last outing. His sole game plan is to get the fight to the mat and to do so he cuts off the cage well and executes some good wrestling. In the grappling department he is tactical using submissions to move to dominant positions. Kim is a good submission threat and has fight-ending ground and pound. He fights Islam Mamedov (18-1-1).

Lightweight, Islam Mamedov (18-1-1)

A top-level wrestler, Mamedov finds the takedown naturally, and on top, he is as good as it gets. He sticks like glue, he moves well and is even excellent at taking the back. His ground-and-pound is very solid — not heavy strikes but constant strikes. Once Mamedov gets the separation, he has a good submission game. On the feet, he is explosive, and he lunges forward with hooks and flying knees. He has power but his ground game is where he is best. He fights Kyung Pyo Kim (9-2).

Flyweight, Casey O’Neill (4-0)

When it comes to young up-and-comers, Casey O’Neill is one of the best. From Scottland, O’Neill has fought her entire pro and amateur career in Australia. In her latest fight, she won the Eternal MMA Strawweight Championship. O’Neill also fights out of an excellent camp in Tiger Muay Thai. O’Neill on the feet is a good striker from range throwing some powerful straights. She throws a lot of volume and is always trowing more than one strike. Her wrestling still needs work and her takedown defense is her biggest flaw. O’Neill is comfortable on the mat whether that’s on top or bottom. She has some really slick jiu-jitsu, probably being her best weapon. She fights Christina Stelliou (6-3).

Heavyweight, Chris Barnett (20-6)

Barnett may be looked down on considering his physique but he is one of the most agile big men seen. He’s had a few bad losses but has a few good wins including a win over currtent heavyweight contender Walt Harris. Barnett is a showman who will throw a variety of kicks. I would label him as a veteran but he still hasn’t had any big show experience. He’s not a great fighter but is super fun to watch. He fights vetertan Oli Thompson who beat Chris back in 2015.

Flyweight, Manon Fiorot (3-1)

Fiorot may only have a few MMA fights but before transitioning to MMA she spent time in boxing and karate. In fact, she was a two-time French kickboxing and Karate champion and was the IMMAF 2017 amateur world champion in 2017. Fiorot is the current EFC Worldwide Flyweight champion beating a solid fighter in Amanda Lino. Her karate style is immediately noticeable with her sideways stance, throwing with a high velocity of kicks. She puts her strikes and kicks together perfectly and is always throwing first. Foirot has a diverse skill set, in addition to striking she will use wrestling and pound out her foes from there. She fights Naomi Tataroglu (2-2).

During this MMA hiatus, we’ve taken to scouting world and selecting five favorite prospects from each country for the most part. This time out we’ll be taking a look at Japan. Japan has produced amazing talent from the past and has some good fighters right now as well. Today some of the well-known names include Tatsuya Kawajiri, Yushin Okami, Shinya Aoki, Takashi Sato, and Mizuki Inoue.

Strawweight, Kanako Murata (11-1)

Kanako Murata was a former 2011 Junior Wrestling World Champion. Her only loss in MMA was to former UFC fighter Rin Nakai but since then she’s won her next eight fights. In her last fight, she actually won the Invicta FC Vacant Strawweight Championship. Her wrestling in MMA is excellent, as her timing and her ability to explode to finish her entries are very well done. Murata has some solid chain wrestling. If her initial shot doesn’t get her opponent down, she can adjust and still land the takedown. She also has some nice judo that she utilizes from time to time. In terms of her skill on the feet, Murata is decent and getting better, but still a much better grappler. Murata is an excellent positional grappler with active ground-and-pound.

Lightweight, Mikuru Asakura (13-1)

Mikuru Asakura is a top prospect out of Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan who has won his last nine fights. Asakura is an exciting prospect who has steamrolled all but one of his opponents. Asakura is a very adept grappler who has some proficient judo/wrestling, along with exceptional jiu-jitsu. Having said that, on the feet is where Asakura is most dangerous. Holding huge knockout power, you could describe Asakura as having dynamite in his hands. He uses that innate power with good set-up techniques, including counters and feints. He is a sniper with explosiveness. Asakura was expected to face ex-ONE Championship bantamweight champ Kotetsu Boku at RIZIN 22, but that card was recently cancelled.

Mikuru’s brother Kai has also evolved into a star for RIZIN FF.

Featherweight, Kazumasa Majima (14-1)

Kazumasa Majima has been on a tear of late, and is currently on a 12-fight win streak. His only loss was by split-decision and dates back to 2014. Majima doesn’t have much to offer on the feet but his work ethic is second to none. He’s very heavy on the gas constantly working takedowns. On top, Majima has glue-like grappling covering every inch of space. He’s shown to be a finisher as well with thirteen finishes, twelve by submission. He’s a workhorse that will be a problem for anyone.

Lightweight, Koji Takeda (10-1)

Koji Takeda has one sole loss to former UFC fighter Damien Brown. Since then he’s got back on the board with two wins. Takeda is the current DEEP Impact lightweight champion with two title defenses. He’s well-rounded with submission wins and TKO wins, although he has gone the distance five times. On the feet, Takeda has an excellent jab and fights behind it very well. He doesn’t have the power, but it’s the accumulation of strikes he lands which is fantastic. He’s just so technical on the feet and is also a good wrestler/grappler and can do it the whole distance of the fight.

Bantamweight, Tatsuki Saomoto (14-2)

Tatsuki Saomoto has been tearing apart a number of promotions in Japan. He’s fought and beaten some pretty good, experienced fighters. Meanwhile, Saomoto himself is only 23-years-old. On the feet, he’s really good at moving in and out with strikes and stepping out of the pocket throwing slick combinations. Saomoto excels on the mat with fun grappling scrambles he’s able to hit. He’s always looking to better his position and land good ground and pound. Overall, Saomoto is a good talent and a fun prospect to watch for.

It’s a busy weekend in Asian MMA with Brave CF 23 taking place in Jordan, and RIZIN 15 in Japan. Here are the prospects to pay attention to on these cards.

Here’s who to watch out for in our latest Weekly MMA Prospect Report. Also, I will highlight the three prospects who I believe have the highest ceiling with an asterisk.

Brave CF 23 | Friday | Jordan

Welterweight, Abdoul Abdouraguimov (9-0)

The Russia native had a background in freestyle-wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu before switching over to MMA to boost up his undefeated pro record. Abdouraguimov needs to work on a few things like his footwork as he tends to get more flat-footed as the fight goes on, and that’s because his gas tank wears quickly. He slows fairly quick because of how aggressive he is early and his grapple-heavy style. His wrestling is decent, but he could use his setups better. However, he does close the distance fairly well and is willing to take risks getting the fight to the mat because he scrambles so well. On the mat, he is solid with grappling, but on the feet, he is unpredictable and just needs to be more technical. Abdouraguimov also has a win over former UFC fighter Viscardi Andrade. He fights champion Jarrah Hussein Al-Silawi (13-2).

Welterweight, Jarrah Hussein Al-Silawi (13-2)

Jarrah Hussein is well-rounded with exceptional cardio and that has won him the Brave CF welterweight title. The Jordan native is currently on an eight-fight win streak with those wins over opponents with a combined record of 61-16. On the feet, once he gets warmed up, he’s a skilled striker. I really don’t like when he utilizes his head kicks because they are telegraphed. I do like the way he kicks the legs after combinations, though. His striking defense could be better and so could his takedown defense but I think he’s at his best on the mat. He has five submissions and can threaten from both on the top and bottom. Hussein has good jiu-jitsu and while he is a bit more of a slower fighter, he has good technique. He fights the aforementioned Abdoul Abdouraguimov (9-0).

Welterweight, Mounir Lazzez (7-0)

Mounir Lazzez has been wrecking guys, winning six of his seven fights by KO/TKO as he captured a regional title in the process. Lazzez has the nickname “The Sniper” and that couldn’t be truer – his accuracy is awesome and once he connects flush, it’s lights out. He is athletic, quick, and well-rounded. He can get the takedown and work on top, but on the feet, that’s where he can let loose, where he is really at home. He also holds two awesome head kick knockouts. With all that said, Lazzez can get a little sloppy. He fights Eldar Eldarov (10-1)

Welterweight, Eldar Eldarov (10-1)

The Russian was a former World Cup of Sambo champion and a former European sambo champion. He hits hard on the feet, but he wants to close the distance and get the takedown. His last loss came in 2009 and that was against current UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Eldarov relies on his top control but has eight submission wins as well. He fights the aforementioned Mounir Lazzez (7-0).

Lightweight, Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady (10-1)

Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady is only 23-years-old and is really getting better and better each fight. Al-Selwady is a wrestler first-and-foremost as he closes the distance very well and has the strength to elevate his opponents and slam them to the mat. As I said, Al-Selwady is getting better and that showed with his striking where he’s really quick on the release along with showing accuracy and power. Last year, he won the Brave CF lightweight title against former UFC fighter Lucas Martins. He fights Luan Santiago (13-3) who is legit, so this should be a good test.

Middleweight, Ikram Aliskerov (8-0)*

Ikram Aliskerov is a two-time world combat sambo champion out of Makhachkala, Russia, along with other accomplishments. From what I’ve seen from Aliskerov, while he has the wrestling background, he likes to stand and trade with his opponents. He has a good jab along with some impressive accuracy and timing on both his strikes and level changes. A lot is still unknown about him, but with the power, speed, and accuracy he shows on the feet while being an accomplished wrestler, I like his future at only 26-years-old. He fights Khamzat Chimaev (4-0) who I haven’t watched much on but has a lot of hype around him.

Flyweight, Amir Albazi (11-0)

Amir Albazi has an impressive record as a pro but was also the IMMA world champion as an amateur in 2015. He trains out of London Shootfighters with some top-notch fighters around the world. Albazi is solely a grappler, but with that, he has excellent takedowns utilizing trips and takedowns along the cage. He excels on the mat with his effortless grappling and high IQ. Albazi thrives in scrambles with six submissions. He is high-level on the mat and although he hasn’t shown much on the feet, he hasn’t had too. He fights former UFC fighter Jose Torres. This is a huge fight for Amir.

Lightweight, Akhmed Magomedov (5-0)

Magomedov has a background in freestyle wrestling and was the Russian National Jiu-Jitsu champion in 2017. The Russian only has five fights, but three finishes, getting it done on the mat with submissions and ground and pound. He’s a smart fighter and could be someone to watch for in the future. He fights Steven Goncalves (6-1) who he should beat.
