Despite what can only be described as carnage at the scales a day prior, Friday’s LFA 225 had all fights ready to go at Ginásio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil.
While some of those fights were preliminary card bouts – a full three prelims fighters missed weight – it was the main event that took a real hit. The interim flyweight title fight between Marcos Degli and Luis Aguiar became a one-sided affair when Aguiar also missed weight by just shy of a pound. That left only Degli eligible to win the belt.
