The second of two ONE Championship events at the Lumpinee Stadium this weekend, Friday night (Saturday local time) saw ONE Fight Night 36 unfold.
The card, streaming live on Prime Video, was headlined by a rematch between two-sport champ Prajanchai PK Saenchai and former strawweight kickboxing titleholder Jonathan Di Bella. While Saenchai had won the pair’s first encounter, Canadian-Italian Di Bella had picked up an interim kickboxing title since, making Friday’s clash a title unification bout.
In the co-main event, on the MMA side of things, a pair of former champions faced off. Aung La N Sang had claimed two titles under the ONE banner, and back when the promotion had a greater focus on MMA, was one of the company’s biggest stars. Zebaztian Kadestam was a former welterweight champion, who had been in the cage with some of the best, including Ben Askren.
