Ontario, Canada-based MMA promotion BTC has seen the likes of Jasmine Jasudavicius, Loopy Godinez, Kyle Prepolec, and Serhiy Sidey pass through its ranks, and on Saturday, September 13, the promotion returned for BTC 32: The Battle of Lundy’s Lane.
In the main event, the vacant BTC welterweight championship was on the line when undefeated Canadian Clayton Pyle took on the vastly more experienced Thiago Oliveira, who had previously competed for Bellator MMA.
Adam Assenza, a southern Ontario staple, was making his 16th appearance for the promotion, having posted a 10-4-1 record through his first 15 bouts under their banner. With a planned welterweight title fight off, Assenza was set to headline Saturday’s show against Gustavo Wurlitzer.
