Japanese atomweight Itsuki Hirata returned to action as part of ONE Friday Fights 120, looking to snap a three-fight skid in the process.
Once considered a title hopeful who took part in the promotion’s atomweight grand prix, Hirata was without a win since August of 2022. That three year span had seen her lose fights against UFC veteran Seo-Hee Ham, fellow Japanese fighter Ayaka Miura, and Brazilian Victoria Souza, who had become the first fighter to submit and finish Hirata.
On Friday, she meets undefeated Indian prospect Arti Khatri.
MMA, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai were scheduled for ONE Friday Fights 120, with Thailand’s Yodlekpet Or Atchariya and Pompet Panthonggym facing off in the night’s flyweight Muay Thai main event. As usual, a $100,000 U.S. ONE Championship contract would be on the line for one fighter.
