The UFC is set to make their debut in Qatar on November 22, 2025, bringing a Fight Night event to the nation’s capital, Doha.
Promotion officials announced the news via press release and on social media on Wednesday. No fights have been announced for the event, which adds to the UFC’s slate of Middle Eastern destinations, which already includes Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.
“I’ve always said we’re going to take UFC all over the world—and Qatar is the next stop,” UFC CEO and President Dana White was quoted as saying in Wednesday’s press release. “They already hosted the World Cup and Formula 1, and now we’re bringing a UFC Fight Night there for the first time. Our fights in the Middle East are always incredible so I can’t wait to get out there.”
The event will take place at the ABHA Arena; ufc.com/Qatar has been launched, giving fans the opportunity to register for more info moving forward.
UFC Qatar follows two shows in Abu Dhabi in 2025, and one in Saudi Arabia. It comes roughly one month after UFC 321, which takes place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, which might be better known to MMA fans as “Fight Island.”
Qater is no stranger to MMA, with ONE Championship having hosted events there over the past several years.
