The PFL kicks off its 2025 World Tournament today, and has now announced just where and when the tournament will end.
Eschewing the league’s prior season format, the PFL World Tournament features eight weight classes in a grand prix tournament, with brackets and a win-and-move on setup that should be plenty familiar to MMA fans.
Revealed in a press release on Thursday, the league will head to Atlantic City, New Jersey’s Boardwalk Hall on August 1, 2025, where the featherweight and welterweight tournaments will wrap up. Then, on August 15, the PFL heads to Charlotte, North Carolina fir the first time, setting up shop at the Bojangles Coliseum for the bantamweight and women’s flyweight finals.
Four full weight classes will be included on August 21 at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida. That night will see action in the lightweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions conclude.
Winners of the PFL World Tournament pocket $500,000 worth of prize money on top of their regular purse.
Tickets for all three World Tournament Final events will be available through a presale on Tuesday, April 15, exclusively for PFL newsletter subscribers, with an on-sale date for the general public arriving two days later on Thursday, April 17.
