Kevin Holland Aims To Continue Being Active, 2025 Depends On Weight Class

Anytime, anywhere, is the motto for UFC welterweight Kevin Holland who comes off a decision victory over Gunnar Nelson at UFC London on Saturday.

Holland (27-13) who fights out of Texas took part in his first UFC event in London. It made no difference to the ‘TrailBlazer’.

“I don’t ever worry about jet lag bro, I sleep the whole plane fight, and all night. I could fight whenever,” Holland told Cageside Press at his post-fight scrum.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s the middle of the day, early morning, late at night, if you catch me out the bar I’ll beat your ass. If you catch me going into dinner I’ll beat your ass, and if you catch me right after breakfast…I’ll beat that ass.”

Appropriate words from one of the more active fighters on the entire UFC roster. Holland frequently jumps back and forth between welterweight and middleweight, but there’s a method to his madness.

“If it’s 170 pounds then let’s be smart. Let’s be smart and I’ll possibly do a couple months down the road, then another one,” Holland told reporters.

“If it’s 170 probably only get two more in this year, three at the most. If it’s 185 pounds I can fight every f*cking weekend.”
