The new-look 2025 PFL World Tournament will be single elimination, win and move forward, include elbows, and it now has its first four dates.
PFL officials announced the first four shows of the league’s 2025 season on Tuesday, and all four will take place at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. All four events will be open to the public, with ticket prices ranging from $25 up to $250 for VIP packages.
The move to Universal Studios Florida, Stage 19 sees the PFL forgo its usual travel destinations, including Long Island, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. Instead, it sets up shop in the same studio backlot space that saw films like Bruce Almighty and Serenity film inside its confines. Stage 19 offers 9934 square feet of usable space, per TheStudioTour.com.
No match-ups have been announced for the upcoming season, which has seen prize money for tournament winners drop to $500,000. That number, it should be noted, is part of $20 million in prize money up for grabs in the tournament. Additionally, the 500K will be on top of purse money won throughout the season. In previous years, the million dollars awarded included those purses.
