In the opening fight of Oktagon 66, “The Housewife” Danielle Misteli picked up a 2nd round submission victory. At 48 years old, you wouldn’t expect someone to still be fighting. That was far from the case at Oktagon 66.
Sara Smajic put it on Misteli early. In the first 30 seconds, Misteli was put on skates. Surviving the early storm, Misteli was able to rally back, get the fight to the ground, and get to the finish.
After the fight, she said that after the first few punches landed, she thought she was done. Misteli also expressed interest in more fights with Oktagon, rather just being one and done. Misteli’s instagram describes her perfectly, Old, tired and still dangerous. With this victory, the swiss fighter moves to 4-4, and extends her winning streak to 3 fights.
