UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell is facing backlash after defending Adolf Hitler on his podcast.

“I honestly think that Hitler was a good guy based upon my own research,” he said on ArkanSanity podcast.

“Not my public education indoctrination. I really do think, before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy to go fishing with.”

Mitchell has made odd statements before including making his case that the Earth is flat. That one made people laugh, but this one not so much.

“He fought for his country. He wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out that were destroying his country and turning them all into gays,” he said.

“They charged interest.”

Predictably fans online have had quite a negative reaction to the comments made by Mitchell.

“I have to say, I’m not sure I trust Bryce Mitchell’s research”, one said.

“F*ck Bryce Mitchell”, may as well have been posted by everyone on X.

Ariel Helwani chimed in on the controversy.

Fans last saw him at UFC 310 where he finished Kron Gracie via TKO which put him at 3-2 in his last five. Prior to that he enjoyed a 5-fight win streak that was ended by Ilia Topuria in UFC 282.

It’s far too soon to expect any statement from the UFC, and Mitchell has yet to make any more statements on the matter.
