Week 3
- Featherweight, Keweny Lopes (11-1-1) Vs. Regivaldo Carvalho (10-4)
- Lightweight, Richie Lewis (6-0) Vs. Eduardo Vázquez (8-0, 1 NC)
- Lightweight, Marshal Kemp (7-1) Vs. Patrick Habirora (4-0)
- Flyweight, Alan Martinez (11-0) Vs. Tommy Morrisson (7-0)
- Heavyweight, Max Gimenis (5-1) Vs. Mahamed Aly (3-0)
Notes: The UFC needs heavyweights, and while a bit green in terms of fights, Max Gimenis is a talented grappler who has started his fighting career strong. He’s a Julio Cesar black belt with a whole lot of gold medals/first place finishes including finishing first at the IBJJF Pan Championship in 2020. Gimenis has been competing for Shogun Fights in Brazil and has proven able to finish with his fists when the submission isn’t there.
With strong wrestling in his back pocket, the undefeated Richie Lewis has doubled up on gold of late, claiming the Titan FC and LFA lightweight titles in his last two fights. He’s only fought once in 2024 however.
At 11-0, flyweight Alan Martinez in an interesting prospect. The Mexican has fought exclusively for UWC, the same promotion where former UFC champ Brandon Moreno got his start.
