After a rather entertaining UFC 307 in Salt Lake City last weekend, the UFC returns home to Las Vegas and back to the confines of the Apex for UFC Vegas 98 on October 12, 2024.

Flyweight action headlines the Fight Night card, with former title challenger Brandon Royval headlining against Japanese upstart Tatsuro Taira, who is hot on the tail of his own shot at gold. Taira remains undefeated in the promotion and as a professional, with a 16-0 record to kick off his career, while still just 24-years old. Yet outside of Alex Perez perhaps (who wound up injured in the pair’s fight, though Taira gets some credit for that), Royval is the biggest step up in Taira’s career.

For Brandon Royval, meanwhile, the fight represents an opportunity to go 2-0 in 2024 and build on a win over ex-champ Brandon Moreno back in February.

Weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 98 takes place Friday in Las Vegas kicking off at 12PM ET, 9AM PT. Results can be found below.
