UFC heavyweight Chris Barnett is out of his fight with Junior Tafa at UFC Vegas 98 this Saturday night due to travel issues tied to Hurricane Milton.

Barnett (23-8) resides in Tampa, FL. With Hurricane Milton bearing down on the region he was unable to travel to Las Vegas for his fight.

In his place will enter Sean Sharaf who will make his UFC debut against Tafa at the UFC APEX.

Sharaf (4-0) makes his way to the big show with an undefeated record while bouncing around promotions. All four bouts have ended in the first round via KO or TKO making him a solid booking against fellow heavy-hitte Tafa.

Tafa (5-3) comes into the fight on a two-fight losing streak. He dropped a very short notice fight against Marcos Rogerio de Lima at UFC 298. His brother Justin was supposed to fight Lima, but suffered in an injury the day before the fight.

The other loss came at UFC 305 where he lost via heel-hook against Valter Walker.

No word on what’s next for Chris Barnett.
