ONE Championship was in Bangkok, Thailand for the second of two back-to-back shows at the Lumpinee Stadium on Saturday (Friday evening for Western fight fans), as ONE Fight Night 25 featured a main event rematch with the promotion’s lightweight kickboxing championship on the line.
That fight saw ONE kickboxing champ Alexis Nicolas put his title up for grabs against former titleholder and current lightweight Muay Thai champ Regian Eersel. Nicolas and Eersel had first met in April, with Nicolas coming away with the decision win to claim kickboxing gold from the Surinamese-Dutch star.
Also in action, former UFC contender and ex-ONE bantamweight champ (MMA) John Lineker, paired up against Alexey Balyko in a Muay Thai contest.
