Prediction: I’m really bummed Vallejos isn’t fighting Luke Riley (Riley encountered visa issues) because I had that for the DWCS Fight of the Season. At least the matchmakers got another fighter in Teague who will bite down on his mouth guard and go for the kill. Of all the replacements they could find they did a great job with this one.
I’d be surprised if either guy decided to wrestle as this is DWCS and both are action fighters. It’s a fight where I think both men are so durable that it’s going to be down to who can win the little moments. If anyone was to knock out the other I trust the power and technique of Vallejos more. Teague hasn’t been finished but he does leave openings for it to happen one day. He leaves his chin out there, open to being countered, and when he throws he’s in the pocket too long. Against a guy like Vallejos who is good on the inside and counters very well I believe Teague is in danger.
Vallejos is also likely to be the faster striker and his technique is much better. Maybe Teague can just outlast Vallejos and take over later in the fight. With that said Vallejos does get tired but it’s nothing significant. I’ve got Vallejos by second-round TKO and I’m 80% confident.
