Victoria Leonardo welcomed fellow flyweight Wang Cong to the octagon at UFC Vegas 76 on Saturday, with the fight kicking off the evening’s preliminary card.

China’s Cong, a.k.a. “The Joker,” was light on experience but a perfect 5-0 following a win on Road to UFC 3 earlier this year.

The Chinese newcomer wasted no time in making her presence in the promotion felt, kicking off the card with a bang.

Round one started and Leonardo was putting on the pressure right away. Wang was able to manage the distance with her kicks. She was mixing her kicks to the body and legs. Following that Cong landed a one-two with the right sleeping Leonardo before she even hit the mat. An explosive knockout that came in little over a minute.

Following the victory, Cong voice her displeasure at her placement as curtain-jerker on the UFC Vegas 96 card.

“Actually I’m not happy today. I don’t know why UFC put me on the first fight on the prelims. I think I deserve the main card,” Cong stated via translator. “So UFC Macau, I need to fight on the main card.”

She also had a callout to make. “Next, Casey O’Neill. Are you ready?”

Official Result: Wang Cong def. Victoria Leonardo by knockout (punch), Round 1, 1:02
