ONE Championship’s run at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand continued on Friday, with ONE Friday Fights 75 featuring a pair of MMA fights giving way to Muay Thai action.
Kicking off the show, Japan’s Ryosuke Honda, a former Shooto and DEEP athlete, looked to build on his 2-1 record as part of the Friday Fights series. He was paired up with Russia’s Torepchi Dongak, who sported a 2-1 record overall, with all three of his pro MMA fights coming under the ONE Championship banner.
The main event of ONE Friday Fights 75, meanwhile, was a catchweight (127lb) Muay Thai affair that found Kompet Fairtex facing Lebanon’s Omar El Halabi, with the potential of a ONE Championship contract hanging in the balance.
