UFC 303 is still dealing with the fallout of fighter injuries with multiple withdrawals, but the biggest one was MMA superstar Conor McGregor.
McGregor took to social media to share photos of a toe injury, and fired a shot at former UFC middleweight Chael Sonnen.

Sonnen had insinuated on his show with former UFC champ-champ Daniel Cormier that McGregor had pulled due to being in rehab.
DC: Chael, you are out of your mind.

McGregor was supposed to take on Michael Chandler in the main event of UFC 303 next weekend, but rumors began to spread that he had suffered an injury. After a few days of radio silence from the promotion, and McGregor, the announcement was finally made.
UFC CEO Dana White announced that McGregor was out, the main event was off, and replaced it with a big time fight at 205 pounds between champ Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka.
The dust is still settling from what has turned into a somewhat messy, if not nearly disastrous, couple of weeks for the UFC when it comes to fighter injuries.
Jamahal Hill also pulled from the fight, and was replaced by Anthony Smith, just to have Carlos Ulberg withdraw just this week.
No word as of yet when it comes to McGregor’s return, if the fight with Chandler will be booked at a later date, or if he’s even going take that fight at all.
