Legacy Fighting Alliance was one of several notable regional promotions in action on Friday, with LFA 185 emanating from the Horseshoe Hammond Casino in Hammond, Indiana.
Two title fights topped the marquee at LFA 185, or at least they would have. Lightweight champ Kegan Gennrich was putting his title on the line against Richie Lewis in the main event. However, the co-headliner, an interim strawweight title fight that saw Natasha Kuziutina paired up with Bellator MMA vet Bruna Ellen, was cancelled on fight day due to an illness suffered by Kuziutina.
“Natasha Kuziutina is out due to illness and LFA officials are working to rebook this fight on an upcoming event,” promotion officials offered in a brief statement. “Main card will proceed with the announced bouts.”
Ellen was to be competing for the first time since a win over Ilara Joanne at Bellator 295.
