For the third year running, the UFC will return to Paris, France for a Fight Night event, with the 2024 edition of UFC Paris set for September 28.
Promotion officials announced the date Monday on social media. No fights have been announced for the card, which will once again be held at the Accor Arena. It’s a safe bet, however, that top French names like Ciryl Gane and Morgan Charriere will be itching to be involved.
The company made its debut in France in 2022 with the inaugural UFC Paris event, headlined by Gane and Australian heavyweight Tai Tuivasa. The card was a rousing success, capitalizing on the growing popularity of the sport in the country, which has produced stars including Gane, Benoit St-Denis, Manon Fiorot, PFL standout and ex-kickboxer Cedric Doumbe, and others.
Last year, the UFC returned to Paris for its second Fight Night card in the “City of Love” with Ciryl Gane once again headlining, this time opposite Sergei Spivac. Once again, the French heavyweight known as “Bon Gamin” came away with the victory.
Tickets for this year’s UFC Paris card are set to go on sale on July 5, 2024. The promotion has also set up a mini-site with info on early access.
