Los Angles, CA — Alfredo Angulo had to contend with his hair being yanked on, but he came away with a Fight of the Night bonus at BKFC KnuckleMania 4 on Saturday nonetheless.
Angulo, 41, was making his bare-knuckle debut in the bout against Jeremiah Riggs, after holding several WBC and WBO titles from 2008 to 2011. While he last competed in the sweet science in 2020, he still appeared sharp at the Peacock Theater on Saturday.
“I felt great. I felt great. The only thing, I didn’t like that they pulled my hair like I was a little girl,” Angulo told media outlets including Cageside Press following the event. He went on to note that he was never hurt in the fight. “As you guys know, I’m a dog, and I have a good chin. So the only thing that threw me off was the pulling of the hair.”
So perhaps a haircut is in order then? “Maybe,” Angulo said with a laugh. “Yeah maybe, I will definitely consider that.”

Ultimately, Angulo would earn the TKO win after dropping Riggs, who didn’t make it back up in time to beat the count.
Elvin Brito and Jake Lindsey were among the names suggest for Alfredo Angulo following a successful BKFC debut. He’s not looking for anyone in particular, however.
“We’re not looking for no names, we’re just looking to put [on] the best shows out there. So no, no names. Whatever’s thrown my way, I want to be ready, and throw some blows.”
