Featherweights led the charge in Kentucky as Dana White’s Contender Series vet Lance Lawrence and LFA Fans’ Choice Awards: Fight of the Year nominee Landry Ward headlined LFA 180 in Louisville.
Lawrence, a Kentucky native, had come up short on the Contender Series in 2019 and struggled to find his footing thereafter, but had posted a 2-1 record across his last three fights.
Landry Ward was a former Combate Global athlete, who had posted a 1-1 record to date under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner and was looking to return to the win column.
Also in action on Friday, Bellator MMA alum Ben “Big Tuna” Parrish.
