Oktagon MMA was in Germany on Saturday for Oktagon 55, a card stacked with some of the best talent from around Europe, including several German standouts.
In the main event, Germany’s own Christian Jungwirth looked for a massive homecoming in front of a 15,000 strong crowd when he faced off with Robert Pukac in a welterweight match-up. Munich’s Alexander Poppeck took on Jeremy Kimball in the co-headliner in what would have been a light heavyweight contest, had American Kimball not missed weight for the fight.
In a featured welterweight contest, Niklas Stolze looked to secure his second straight win since exiting the UFC, against Mate Kertesz.
