The traditional Friday show for ONE Championship arrived at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on March 22 with ONE Friday Fights 56 featuring Ferrari Fairtex in the Muay Thai main event.
Fairtex was paired up with Uzbekistan’s Mavlud Tupiev in the bantamweight headliner, with both men looking to extend their win streaks.
On the MMA side of things, one of two mixed martial arts contests on the night saw Rizwan Ali, an undefeated lightweight out of Pakistan, looking to improve to 8-0 when he took on Russia’s Mikhail Gritsanenko. Ali was making his promotional debut in the fight.
