The UFC’s April 6, 2024 Fight Night event has lost an “Italian Dream,” but gained an “Action Man.”

In the wake of Marvin Vettori pulling out of his main event fight against Brendan Allen, it’s Chris Curtis stepping up to help forge a new headliner. UFC officials announced the booking on social media on Friday.

The card is set to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. It marks the second time Curtis and Allen have faced off; their first meeting came in 2021, with Curtis coming away with a TKO finish.

Chris Curtis enters the rematch off a win over Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC 297, while Allen has not lost since their last showdown, having picked up six straight victories. Five of those have come via submission, all rear-naked chokes; Allen is ranked #6 at middleweight, while Curtis stands at #14.
