Featherweight prospect Elijah Johns got a shot at gold on Friday, as he took on Alfred Walker in the main event of LFA 176 in Phoenix.
Johns, brother of UFC alum Miles Johns, was coming off a loss to Javier Garcia in a previous title fight, and had been expected to meet his rival in a rematch. Instead, it was Alfred Walker stepping into the championship bout on Friday night.
Walker, a pro since 2012, had won his last three fights, including his promotional debut last time out.
