On a rare Saturday night where essentially all the major players in MMA took a day off, BareKnuckle FC had the spotlight to themselves for its BKFC Fight Night Prospects: Albuquerque card.
Headlined by middleweights Donald Sanchez and Noah Cutter, the “prospects” concept belied the fact that there were still a handful of recognizable names attached to the event. Those included Taylor Starling, who did herself up as Street Fighter’s Cammy for weigh-ins and was booked opposite Jenny Savage, and Eric Dodson, brother of flyweight champ John Dodson.
Also on Saturday’s card, the debut of former UFC heavyweight Juan “The Kraken” Adams.
